We are an accredited teaching practice for the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners. As a result we have a doctor who is new to General Practice and rotates through this practice every 6 months. These Doctors have completed their medical training and spent at least 3 years working in a Hospital setting. They are directly under our supervision but most of the time they actually have a considerable amount of up-to-date knowledge and they are, in fact, often the ones teaching us!
